Contractual Therapist

FamilyWorks Together, a program of Adoptions Together, is seeking experienced, licensed, contractual therapists for the following office locations: Alexandria, VA, Calverton, MD,  and Gaithersburg, MD.    

Experience and expertise preferred around permanency related issues including: attachment disruption, trauma, behavior management, loss, grief, identify formation and school issues. Bilingual (English/Spanish) therapists are preferred.   

Appropriate licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT) for the jurisdiction in which you intend to practice is required in addition to strong interpersonal and writing skills. LPC, LCPC and LCMFT candidates must be fully licensed. 

As a contractor, you will be able to create your own schedule and will receive supervision from agency staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping records and notes within our agency data system as well as tracking and reporting outcomes on quarterly basis.  Each contractor will be responsible for submitting an invoice on a monthly basis for payment.
